Bio
Attorney Paulo Tanasio is a Rhode Island and Massachusetts licensed real estate attorney with over 24 years of experience helping clients purchase, sell, lease, and develop real estate. He is fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese. Paulo is passionate about protecting his clients and helping them achieve their goals. He is an excellent communicator and is well known for his skills in explaining the law in a clear and understandable manner. He is empathetic and will work very hard getting his clients what they want, when they want it.
Attorney Tanasio and his team provide comprehensive legal services, including contract negotiations, title examinations, and excellent advice regarding all things real estate such as permitting, zoning, land use, leasing, and landlord/tenant matters. He has represented a diverse range of clients, from first-time homebuyers to seasoned investors, ensuring their interests are protected throughout.
Paulo is the son of two Portuguese immigrants. His multicultural background and language skills allow him to easily connect with clients from various backgrounds, ensuring their needs are met with care and professionalism.
He has served as an adjunct professor at the Community College of Rhode Island, teaching Property Law, Contracts, and Evidence, where he enjoyed mentoring aspiring legal professionals.
Attorney Tanasio is a life-long resident of Rhode Island and currently resides in the Town of Lincoln. He enjoys spending time and traveling with his family. He is an avid soccer fan and enjoys watching his children compete in various national soccer tournaments. He is also a member of the Clube Juventude Lusitana, a Portuguese social club in Cumberland, Rhode Island, where he volunteers his time at their annual summer festival and as treasurer of the Portuguese school.
